I made $175,000 but I worked all year with only 5 days off a year and was required to travel with my employer to their compound in a remote ranch location in the NW and to their island beach home. I am fluent in 3 languages as well. I had no life and lived with the family. I used all of that time to study for the GMAT and save to pay for law school so I could graduate with no debt.

They way underpaid you.

You are not an uneducated immigrant housekeeper. Do not sell yourself short and cheap.

What is wrong with immigrant housekeepers? Seriously why is everyone so anti-immigrants on this site???

I’m completely ok with immigrants, legal immigrants, people that pay taxes, etc.

This. Most of the time they are paid illegally, work for peanuts, are treated horribly, and speak no English. All the while, the families who employ them rave about their wonderful nanny that they pay so well.
