Lingerie

Push ups are not sexy. It is a bunch of foam and padding. Plus you don't have much to "push up" not a dig, just what it is. Branch out and try something sexy while showcases what you naturally have

But aren't there times you also want to look like a porn star?

My preference is a classy/elegant look and "act" like a porn star (at times...)

Last night with the lights on my husband walked in on me while I was standing stark naked in the middle of our bedroom. I made a bee line to the closet but he blocked my way and things progressed very rapidly from there. I could have been wearing a thousand dollars worth of lingerie and not gotten a better response.

Hint: He loves you naked. He loves your body. Don't be so self-conscious about it.

For those who say you don't see the point.... do you not wear a bra and underwear most days? So instead of buying the plain nude bra, why not buy a pretty one? That's my mindset. Pretty much all of my bras and underwear are "pretty" at the least. Even my nude bras have lace or some see through mesh... something. Never a plain bra. It feels pretty good wearing something cute or sexy under my clothes everyday, even if no one sees it. And maybe your partner only sees it for a few seconds, but if you're wearing it anyway, why not make those few seconds a bit enjoyable?

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a true winner! I loved catching glimpses of my wife as to what she was wearing underneath as it gave some insight as to what would perhaps transpire later...

I bought my DW lingerie once which was a mistake because she said it basically was a present for me. Fair point, so I said, OK, for my birthday, by yourself some hot lingerie you will wear to bed with me. I've asked for that for three straight years and she doesn't do it and always says she didn't think I was serious. She just isn't hot for me. We are 50s and have sex 5x/year or so

Wish my husband agreed with you but he’s not particularly interested in what I naturally have. He likes the cleavage even if it’s fake. C’est la vie.

Also, can someone explain to me what a balconette bra is?

Two things:
1) The mistake was having lingerie be the only gift. If it is part (say you got her a necklace and lingerie), then you are good (win-win).
2) Bigger problem is that she doesn't see that using the lingerie (i.e. having sex) is actually a plus. That'll take more work. Need to do some massaging or something to put her in the mood without the lingerie pressure of "your man demands service-ing". Not an easy hill to climb.

Me again. I just ordered several sets of lingerie and other sexy accoutrements based on several of the recommendations here. Thank you for the suggestions previous posters. Now if only that attractive guy at the gym can work up the desire and/or courage to ask me out, I can put them to good use.

What did you get?

I will keep that a private surprise for the lucky man I form a connection with. He will not be disappointed.

well hello there....

Don't think of it like that... he's a boob guy... he just likes to see your boobs "enhanced" (not necessarily augmented). Its basically the wrapping on the present, you know.
Kind of like legs guys. They'd be happy enough if a lady just threw on a pair of pantyhose or stockings... and nothing else. Just that.

What about a corset? Is that sexy or going too bdsm?

Perhaps not a corset; however, a classy bustie'? My wife would sometimes wear them when we would go out on the town with a short skirt/blazer... A rather sexy look and V.E.R.Y. easy to access on the way home... (miss those days...)

DW wears corset regularly, she does have one that is more BDSM style, but most of them are like any other daily lingerie.

You can buy the sexiest corsets at Queen Victoria's Secret.
