Lingerie

Last night with the lights on my husband walked in on me while I was standing stark naked in the middle of our bedroom. I made a bee line to the closet but he blocked my way and things progressed very rapidly from there. I could have been wearing a thousand dollars worth of lingerie and not gotten a better response.

Hint: He loves you naked. He loves your body. Don't be so self-conscious about it.

Hint: He loves to f*ck

I find it hard to believe anyone over the age of 22 needs to ask this question. You don't need to be wearing crotchless panties and thigh highs, but if you think you might be getting undressed later, for god's sake put some thought into it. Journelle for instance just has lots of nice everyday underwear. I have this in a few colors and would wear something like this on an every day basis (going to the store, school etc). I know not everyone can get away with something like this every day, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know you should wear something like this on a date.

Either you’re 22, have implants or have had a breast lift, or you‘ve never had kids and have naturally small breasts. Because I’ve had 2 kids and I’m in my mid-30’s and that would offer “the girls” absolutely NO support or coverage.

It is super cute. Small lady here. I'd wear that.

Wish my husband agreed with you but he’s not particularly interested in what I naturally have. He likes the cleavage even if it’s fake. C’est la vie.

Also, can someone explain to me what a balconette bra is?

Don't think of it like that... he's a boob guy... he just likes to see your boobs "enhanced" (not necessarily augmented). Its basically the wrapping on the present, you know.
Kind of like legs guys. They'd be happy enough if a lady just threw on a pair of pantyhose or stockings... and nothing else. Just that.

NP here and I’m totally a butt and leg guy. Love when women wear stockings or pantyhose and heels with a pencil skirt. Showing some leg goes a long way to get my engine running hot. DW has an amazing figure and loves when I buy here lingerie and stockings. Wolford and La Perla are great brands.

Small lady here and I’d wear that Journelle bra, too - have similar other bras and the vertical seam offers more support than you’d think. That said, it’s not meant to be a gym or running bra. :+)

NP. I'm a married female. My DH does not care at all about lingerie. I'm buying it for me but I don't really know what I'm doing. I've recently bought some flattering panties from Soma and Aerie (their lacier stuff, less sporty looking) for everyday wear. I like the idea of unlined bras (I have a couple). Any recommendations for someone who wears a 34D? With matching panties that won't completely break the bank?

Your AP will be thrilled even if your DH is oblivious.

If I had 34D's I wouldn't be hiding them in the privacy of my bedroom. Save the money!

NP. I'm 42, a 32D, and have this bra. It's great and definitely supportive. Admittedly I have no kids, but I'm hardly a member of the IBTC.

I'm the PP. Thanks for the compliment even though I wouldn't characterize them as big. Also, no AP, to reply to the other poster. I've been just as oblivious as my DH as to the state of my unders! But any name brands in between the very high and very low would be appreciated. I've taken note of the brands already mentioned on this thread.

I also have this bra - 32C. No issues. I bf'd for 15 months.
