Hypoglycemia is not uncommon but it's not serious (seizures, death) for a person not taking insulin or some oral diabetic meds. But it can be uncomfortable, annoying, or somewhat debilitating. Being at 50 is no fun, but even if I don't have a snack or meal, I'll come out of it eventually on my own. |
You could get a blood sugar monitor and check your blood sugar. That's what a crash feels like to me. |
I would get dull headaches during the first week or two when I started IF, but since I was checking my blood sugar multiple times a day, I knew it wasn’t related, I was in a normal range. What helped me, increased water intake, increased sea salt on foods, started taking magnesium & potassium supplements. As another poster said, best to get a meter and monitor your sugar level, until you get a feel for things. |
