I hope you also sign the petition. This guy is lucky enough not to arrested and hanged for what he said. His behavior was very unaccetable and we need to let the Hollywood know if they Disrespected the president they will be fired.

Unless you are talking about hanging via lynching, no, he's not lucky that he wasn't arrested for what he said. We still live in the USA, and the First Amendment still offers broad protections to political speech. I am disgusted by Trump on a daily basis, but I agree that Colbert's joke was vulgar...and it made me lose respect for him. But because it was unnecessarily lewd and homophobic, not because he criticized the President. I'm so glad I live in a country with the rule of law and protections for my freedoms. Why don't you feel the same? |

No. For one thing a poll is not a prediction, its a snapshot at one point in time. And every poll has a statistical margin of error. In fact the polls suggested a close election, and we had a close election. It happened to go a couple of points stronger for Trump, that is all. What do you think of the polls in the French election? |
