And if it was Santa he was definitely wearing his white gloves. I think it's odd that Santa told JB he would have a special present for her right after Christmas. Like she should be expecting him |
Can anyone who thinks Patsy did it tell me why she would choose to write a 3 page rambling letter as opposed to a quick and easy 2 sentence one? She would've been in a total state of trauma at the time. |
The brother or somehow the mother helped vice versa. |
Steve Thomas wrote the book with severe tunnel vision. He only thought Patsy did it and dismissed everything else. He wrote in the book about his investigation of Santa. His last paragraph about him said something about how they did some more investigation that gave him some info why it wasn't Santa but did not even bother to say what it was in the book. |
Steve Thomas even said in the book he couldn't keep Santa out of the spot light. He told him not to go on tv. Santa could not help himself. He wanted to keep reliving the crime. |
If it was Santa- what present did he bring and why did he leave the body behind? |
Well, kind of. A true kidnapper would have written a few words on a piece of paper and gotten out of there with JB, not lingered for hours in the house where they may have been caught (see: Elizabeth Smart). Since Patsy knew exactly what happened with JB, she had time to do a practice note, then write the real one. Then, carefully place it on the stairs up to the bedrooms. She would have also known the amount ($118,000) of John's Christmas bonus, which was included in the ransom note. And, of course, the ransom call which the "kidnappers" referenced in the ransom note never happened because, well, they were in the house already. |
If Santa told JB a few days before Christmas (which apparently he did) that he would be back to give her a present after Christmas, then she wouldn't be startled to see him in her bedroom that night. He could've told her to be very quiet as they went downstairs. I also don't think the perpetrator planned to leave the body behind. I think she screamed and he couldn't get out as easy as he thought with her, so he killed her. |
I think the plan was to get her out in the suitcase by the basement window but it wouldn't fit through the window like they thought and maybe around then Patsy got up and started running around the house looking for JB and the perpetrator had to get out w/o JB and thus killed her and went back out the window. |
shriveled up old penis |
Don't forget the 911 call placed anonymously at the Christmas party a few days before the murder. The killer was probably seeing how fast the police would get there if called. When the police showed up at the door everyone denied making the call. Santa was at that party. |
He took a present for himself- the other half of the paint brush that was used to assault JB. He also took the stun gun, duct tape and the rest of the white tie. |
I don't think he went in his Santa suit. He probably wore a black ski mask, black gloves, etc. He was trying to get in and out of the house with no one seeing him. I also find it strange that his daughter and her friend were kidnapped on December 26 many years before. His daughter was not harmed but had to watch the friend be sexually assaulted. When asked about this the McReynolds said they didn't really remember the date. No way would you not remember your own daughter being kidnapped the day after Christmas. |
How do you explain the fact that "Santa" had just had hard core heart surgery and was probably not physically capable of this? |
