Who did you think killed JonBenet?

Weirdly enough, I recall reading somewhere that JonBenet's bed linens were not wet. I don't know if that's true or not.

Also the pee on the carpet in the basement.... It must have been pretty darned noticeable for the cops to have noticed it. If JonBenet had peed her bed, would she also have been able to soak the carpet downstairs also?

It's pretty common for the bladder to void upon death. They think she was strangled and died on that carpet. So at that time, she lost control of her bladder. The sheets were apparently soaked with urine. She was changed and had on new underwear and had been washed down. The intruder would have had to have been all over the house, which is highly highly unlikely. He would have had to: get John Benet from the third floor in her room. Get some underwear there maybe? Get some hair ties because she had a new hairdo. He also would have had to mess up her bathroom. He then took her to the kitchen via the stairs, getting decorations in her hair so apparently he's carrying her at a weird angle. Then he fed her pineapple and water without leaving any prints on anything. Wrote a note then or later with things from the house. While Jon Benet was just sitting there waiting to be killed. Seems odd. She was 6. Then, she is bashed in the head. Seems that the experts agreed that was with the flSjlight or possibly a golf club. So, then he carries her down the stairs to the basement. He then has to find the wine cellar. Make a garrote with stuff from the house. Strangle her on the carpet. Then sexually assault her. Then wipe her down. Then change her underwear and put on her wet pajama pants. Also seems that the size 12 underwear came from the basement in a wrapped present because they didn't find any of the rest of the pack in John b's underwear draw. So the intruder would have had to have unwrapped the correct present and hide the rest. Then he got John b's blanket and favorite doll nightie, which had blood on it, from the dryer upstairs. Laid it on her. Found some tape and tapes her mouth after she was dead. Then back up the stairs to lay the note on the bottom of the stairs and then, out the door.

So that sounds unlikely, right?

Sorry, the intruder theory makes no sense. Never has.

The intruder wrote the note and gathered supplies while the family was at the party.

How do yoy know that all of that happened during this time? Couldn't she have esten some oineappke before going to bed? She could have peed on the basement floor earlier in the day too. I don't know anything about her having her hair st

...styled differently. Could she have done that herself before going to bed? She also could have wet her PJs and then put some underwear on. Putting wet PJs over clean undies seems like a total kid move.

you're assuming that all of this happened at the same time by the same person. mom could have totally cleaned her up after wetting the bed and intruder could have been lurking in a closet or in the basement and injured her skull after parents were in bed. I think it was someone who knew the dad through work, hence knowing the amount of the bonus, and either had it in for him or was obsessed w/ the little girl. (Or both.)

you're forgetting how many people were crawling all over the crime scene and contaminating it. People were coming and going and the police were completely inept at collecting evidence, let alone keeping the crime scene secure. Intruder could have walked right out the front door with all the people milling about. No one would have noticed...especially if it was someone the family knew.

This is gonna be really good! Now we know why Burke is doing Dr. Phil... gotta get ahead of the story.

An intruder is not going to bash someone's skull in and wait 2 hours to strangle them. An intruder is not going to leave a body in the basement where it could be easily found AND spend time writing and rewriting a ransom note.....that just so happened to look just like Patsy's left handed writing sample.

I know that the truth can be stranger than fiction but there is just way too much here. Every angle I look at points right back at the mother. I don't know why she did it, I think that she was sorry that she did it but I also think that there is every reason to think that she did it.

Yes, I am so going to watch this and Burke Ramsey.

My own gut says that JonBenet received the blow to her skull in the kitchen (I don't know why I think that but the pineapple just seems too important, so something happened there that Patsy did not want to remember). Patsy carried a badly injured JonBenet upstairs, tucked her into bed. At some point Patsy realized how badly JonBenet was hurt....and that was when the cover up started and Patsy went a little insane for a while. Creepy as hell.

I'm not at all interested in anything the original investigators have to say since they botched the investigation so badly. I am interested in what fresh eyes combined with new technology says and this should be an interesting series.

That's stupid sorry. The clean up was after the sexual assault. Wiping off the blood. The underwear were clean. The investigators know she was killed on the carpet and urinated on it at that time.

You realize it's possible to disagree with someone without resorting to childish name calling, right? Would you let your kid call someone stupid just because they disagreed with a theory behind a news article even though no one actually knows what really happened? I certainly hope not.

Um, she didn't call YOU stupid. There was no name calling, childish or otherwise. Reading comprehension is so important!

We don't have any American Dolls in our house so I'm not familiar with them. But I'm wondering if it's possible if JonBenet's doll could have been the item used to crack JonBenet's skull.

Maybe some grabbed that doll by its hair in anger and swung it down hard on JonBenet cracking her skull with its hard plastic leg.

Whatever happened to JonBenet's American Girl dolls?
