Who did you think killed JonBenet?

And then we are to believe that they were checking on those little ones every 30 minutes? With a sliding door unlocked, a window open, a bedroom door blowing open and yada yada.

The more I learn about it I creepily think they killed her or the mom killed her the night before. She died behind the couch. Both Dna and blood linked to Madeline found behind the couch. I'm so confused because she was obviously dead. Why waste so much money and time on this "search"?

Another girl "Amy" (not her real name) who attended the same dance studio as JB and lived in the same area was attacked in her bedroom at night 9 months later. Her mother woke up and scared the attacker away. The father thought the attacker must have gotten in the house while they had been out that evening and waited to attack.

Interesting details about items found in the basement that point to the mother:

There is surprisingly little information about this attack. I wonder why that is.

Although I don't agree with all of the analysis here, there is a lot of detail about the ransom notes that also points to Patsy:

An interesting detail from the autopsy report is that the cheek contusion was consistent with a slap. I still wondered if Patsy didn't slap her hard over the bedwetting and she fell and hit her head (as others have proposed), with the rest being coverup. It makes a lot of sense.

But one big question mark to me is the garrote. I didn't even know what one was much less how to make one. Detectives should have investigated whether Patsy or John knew how to tie one.

I think the brother did it, likely accidental and the parents covered for him.

What I read said the hit to her head was extremely forceful and have had to come from a very strong person which I think rules out her brother for sure and probably her parents too.

I was trying to figure that out. I have no idea what kind of force it would take to do the damage to her skull that was done. But it has always struck me as an injury inflicted by an adult...not a 9 year old.

I think the person who attacked this girl probably killed jb. Maybe a link from the dance studio ?

I think it was a copy cat attack. And the girl attacked was 14 at the time, JonBenet was only 6. I don't think there is a connection.

I THINK I'VE GOT THIS!

It was an intruder. Someone who either worked for them or worked with John. They either had a key, knew someone who did, or figured out how to get one. So, could have been someone like a housekeeper or anyone who had temporarily been given a key and had a copy made.

They knew the amount of the bonus check. Could have overheard or saw a letter to John stating the amount. Again, someone who works in the home or with John.

They knew the family was going to the party. Their intention was to kidnap for ransom but wanted to make it look like the parents did it so they could buy some time to get her hidden and situated.

So they entered the house soon after the family left for the party. They gathered supplies and wrote the ransom note. They even tried to copy mom's handwriting. Then they hid in the house until the family came home and went to bed. They knocked JBR out while she slept and took her to the basement to get her ready to transport - duct tape mouth, tie her up, whatever. During this, she was sexually assaulted. Before they could get her out, something went wrong and they decided they had to kill her instead.

They either hid out in the house for quite some time after or managed to leave without leaving footprints in snow. If snow was coming down that night and/or it was windy, the tracks could have been gone by morning. Or they could have smoothed out their tracks behind them.

So an intruder was in that house for hours, up and down three levels, killing, sexually assaulting, possibly feeding pineapple to a 6 year old, writing pages of a ransom note....no one hear a thing and the intruder left no footprints, no fingerprints, no hair, no trace. Just vanished.

Sorry, the intruder theory makes no sense. Never has.

Regarding the intruder theory - you left out the part where she wet her bed.

Weirdly enough, I recall reading somewhere that JonBenet's bed linens were not wet. I don't know if that's true or not.

Also the pee on the carpet in the basement.... It must have been pretty darned noticeable for the cops to have noticed it. If JonBenet had peed her bed, would she also have been able to soak the carpet downstairs also?
