Guy: Mid 50s, Twice Divorced, 3 kids with the 2 exs…

So, what if someone got married when they were young and stupid, they had a baby and were divorced by mid-20's. Then get remarried 5-7 years later, have 2 more kids, and that end in divorce 15-20 years later? That would put you in your mid-50's easily.

I really don't see why that should disqualify a person from the dating pool. I'd definitely take into account the relationship he has with his exes and kids, though.

He was not young and stupid. He was 28 for the first marriage and late 30s for the second, so yeah. Again, I don't know how long each marriage lasted. That change your assessment?

I was 22 and very naive when this successful 50 smth lawyer swept me off my feet. I was too stupid to even think of the red flags which were too obvious - 2 marriages. Cheated on the first wife with his second wife. They had a boy. With his second wife he had a boy and a girl. Cheated on her repeatedly. She divorced him once the kids went to college. I was just plain stupid and he went ahead and broke my heart (was seeing escorts while I was living with him). His daughter doesn't date at all because of him... She told me she can't trust men. God, I am so disgusted right now.
