Exactly. It was the boycotting of South Africa, the embargo and complete withdrawal of financial dealings that did them in. NOT blowing people up.

Now that we know it's possible, how can we support people who engage in violence to make these kinds of changes?

Who was blown up in the past 19 days? Do I need to remind you the facts?

About 5,870 Palestinians have been wounded with 1000+ dead, over 80% civilians

Israeli deaths are 40 soldiers and two civilians.

Who is engaging in Violence?

Please, just discuss the reality of the situation instead of pretending. What's going on now is a result of the Palestinians repeatedly attacking the Israelis. The Israelis are fight back -- and they're winning because they are much bigger and more powerful.

These numbers ARE the reality of the situation. Who's pretending? You. You're pretending that Palestine vs. Israel is somehow a struggle of equals with equally valorous goals.

They are all related. There are allegations made by Snowden that ISIS was created by the British, American intelligence and Mossad :

The former employee at US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has revealed that the British and American intelligence and the Mossad worked together to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Snowden said intelligence services of three countries created a terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called “the hornet’s nest”.
NSA documents refer to recent implementation of the hornet’s nest to protect the Zionist entity by creating religious and Islamic slogans.

According to documents released by Snowden, “The only solution for the protection of the Jewish state “is to create an enemy near its borders”.

I can tell you one thing about ISIS. All the Muslims that i know say that I SIS are clearly non-muslims and trained assassins to serve Zionism. This is the current discourse in Muslim communities. The main basis, is that we do not bomb mosques especially ones made in respect of a Prophet. We love and respect all Prophets. . We do not drive out people of other religions from our land and call out to annihilate them.

OK. I was with you when you discussed Palestine but you're very, very off the track here. If ALL the Muslims you know think ISIS is clearly non-Muslim, you must run in very rarified Muslim circles or you are a recent convert. Because the mainstream Sunni discourse has always had a "submit or die" attitude to Shia, and a "raze'em down" attitude to Shia mosques, shrines and sacred places. The term "rafidah" wasn't invented by Zionists. See what happened in Iraq, and what's happening in Pakistan now. The ideology of the caliphate wasn't invented by Zionists. For that, you can thank our good friend and ALLY Mr. Abdullah Al-Saud and all his predecessors who fueled the Wahhabi filth and fanned it all over the world with petrodollars. Let's call things by their proper names.

Terrorism is poor men's nuclear bomb. If you think the Palestinians were having it nice and just being barbaric, why don't you move there and live for a year. Heck, just live for a week during the Israeli bombing right now.

That's the exact opposite of what I'm saying. It's not a struggle of equals -- and that's why the numbers are so lopsided, not because the Palestinians are better people. I'm saying Israel is bigger, so that is why they are inflicting more damage. And if Palestine had the power Israel has, they would inflict the same damage on the Israelis. They are doing whatever they can with what they have at their disposal, just like Israel is.

I hope Israel keeps up this offensive for weeks until every last terrorrist, tunnel, rocket launching pad and the entirety of the Gazan terrorist infrastrucure is destroyed. If all of Gaza has to be razed to do so, let it happen. The people of Gaza are getting what they wanted when they elected Hamas. They wanted a bloodthirsty, war-mongering group built on hatred and war to lead them, so this is what they get after Hamas started another war with Israel. I wish the rest of the world would get out of Israel's way and let them crush these animals. No other country on Earth, ever, has had to put up with a neighbor launching rockets on their civilians on a nearly daily basis, year after year. Fight on, IDF!!!

Calling Israel a neighbor is like calling the whites who slaughters Native Americans pioneers.

Not the OP, but here are some pictures from FOX, probably your favorite news source any other day. You sound like a hater or an idiot.

Not true. I have been Muslim all of my life, I am a sunni and 90% of the Muslims i know are Sunnis and we don't go around wishing death to the Shi'a. Yes there are Sunni/Shia conflicts around the world but those are in very specific areas and very politicized , religion is really secondary in those conflicts even though people use religion's name most of the time to justify their actions.

Religion is secondary in those conflicts?? Is that why they are slaughtering women and children in Iraq?
