its a crude word that got brought into the discussion by someone who posted an article on "Slut shaming" in the angry man thread.

My assertion is that all other things equal a lower partner count is desirable over a higher one - assuming same level of sexual willingness and opened with the current partner.

"slut" varies with age of course, but I guess in my mind if a woman has had more than 15 partners at age 25 - that seems like a lot.

I think the average is 4-6 lifetime? something like that.

a) I would never be made to feel insecure by a woman with a high count - turned off maybe, but not insecure. and b) higher partner counts after a certain point for a woman actually screams low confidence and insecurity.

Male cheating is not a big deal. (I'm not the guy who's posting the anti-slut stuff in this thread.) But it's not. Women want a guy who is desired by other women. And if a woman wants it, a man will put it in.

Men are fine with sluts/whores/promiscuous women for fuckbuddies and fun. Of course they don't want to marry them. That's not even debatable, it's common knowledge. There are girls you fuck-and-chuck, and girls you date/marry. Every guy knows that. More and more women are unmarriable nowadays, as promiscuity increases.

Yes, male cheating is a big deal just as much as women cheating. And for guys to look at some women as sluts/undatable and others as chaste/marriage material looks negatively on them to me. There's a huge difference between experience and promiscuity. Also, there are these handy prophylactics called condoms. They help prevent pregnancy and protect against STDs.
