I don't care about the Superbowl one bit... who's with me?

My American husband doesn't like football and is neither a recent immigrant or gay. He'd just rather watch UFC than a ball game.

College football is great. We even take the kids to the occasional UMD game, even though neither of us went there. Professional football turns me off, though, in so many ways.

Is it hard to get tickets esp since neither of you are alum?

Not hard at all to get tickets as a non-alum. They sell a family pack which includes hotdogs and hot chocolate. OK, we don't get the best tickets. But they weren't nosebleed, either.

Right, because watching grown men in tight pants falling all over each other isn't gay at all.

Guess I shudda kept reading. This was better than my answer.

Yes (to paraphrase a PP, and an old joke), because watching scantily clad men in tight shorts roll around on the floor with other guys, grabbing each other all the while isn't gay at all. Compared to the UFC, a football game is like a meeting of the Family Research Council.

Note: I like both football and the UFC, and am not gay (I don't think) - just couldn't pass this up.

Ditto. Except that my husband likes baseball, but doesn't care much for football.

Yeah...I'm going to agree with you on that. I can't imagine a guy not liking....actually loving...football. But guys from the DC area are a little "off" for lack of a better word.

I am much more passionate about college football, but I am very excited about the Superbowl! I don't really care who wins, but I love a good football game! And I love football food!

Are you for real? You must not get out much.

I'll answer as PP presumably might.

To hell with these metrosexual city slickers! Gimme some real men like they have back home. I'm talking about the flower of red-blooded, football-watchin' 'mercuhn manhood here:
