I don't care about the Superbowl one bit... who's with me?

Right, because watching grown men in tight pants falling all over each other isn't gay at all.

We've even hosted before (DH has an obnoxious projector TV) which works out well because we don't care if we miss something because of our hosting duties.

Why have a big obnoxious projector TV if not for spoets? Is the ballet really exceptional in HD?

Ever hear of these things called movies?

Oh, movies are so boring and ridiculously overcommercialized these days. It’s just disgusting how much money the actors make – the values here are so distorted, that entertainers get paid so much. Such a waste of money. Plus, so many of them are oversexed addicts. I just can’t stand the way this country heroicizes these silly young men and women. So many of them are such assholes that if I had the opportunity to meet them, I’d decline. If not liking movies makes me "out of touch" then I'm just so glad. I just thought movie-watching was a middle-America thing.

Yeah...I'm going to agree with you on that. I can't imagine a guy not liking....actually loving...football. But guys from the DC area are a little "off" for lack of a better word.

I am much more passionate about college football, but I am very excited about the Superbowl! I don't really care who wins, but I love a good football game! And I love football food!

No meant to be. I don’t think hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness is funny at all.

Yup. They will spend all their savings on that.

I am sister! I always hated it when my Dad had that ridiculous game on. And sooooo boring. That said, I wouldn't turn down going to a Superbowl party. After all, with all the down time in the game there is plenty of time for visiting.

Give me the Stanley Cup any day! You have to stay on your toes to watch hockey.

.....Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I won't be watching. DH will be. I just wish it was on later so I could go out shopping or something without any crowds!
