You sound like someone who doesn't understand that hobbling NIH reporting on current pandemics is a bad idea. |
Hm, what do you think it is about the rhetoric on the right that leads to this response? |
If you actually believe that none of the "mainstream" science has been/is being politicized, you're not only brainwashed, but incredibly naive & woefully ignorant. |
And who are you? I would trust mainstream science including my doctor over some internet rando who dares to label themselves "Commonsense." Tell us who you are and we'll see if you have the qualifications to back up your big words. |
Agree. The AMA is not a reputable institution anymore. It got way too political and is no longer trusted. |
That’s your choice. I mean, my pediatrician still pushed Covid vaccines on my kids at every visit despite the fact that there is ZERO data to back up that stance. If it’s not clear to you that Big Pharma has an over-sized hold on our public health institutions, then you have not been paying attention. |
What exactly do you disagree with about the previous post? Sounds like two solid things people should do in order to stay healthy. |
I have a degree in science and this is exactly why people don’t trust scientists anymore. Science used to be about questioning and verifying. During Covid, our leading public health officials shut down any opposing viewpoints. The censorship was appalling and eye-opening. We need to allow for opposing viewpoints in the public sphere and that isn’t happening. |
Because there were no credible science based arguments! We shouldn’t care about opposition from people unqualified to have an opinion, and the fact that we gave them the time of day at all is a sign of how far we have fallen. Would you like to give some YouTube conspiracy theorist morons with opinions about the shape of the Earth positions at NASA? Maybe take their “opposition” into account? Lmao. |
So go build a lab and get funding and run experiments. Being an unmedicated anti-vaxxer loon isn’t a credential. |
During Covid, the opposing viewpoints amounted to "trust me, bro". |
Go hug a chicken PP. |
I’m curious to see what happens with vaccines for H5N1. If the government fails to act, will the commercial side pick up the slack? |
Do you remember the Great Barrington protocol? It was the voices of scientists who opposed the overly aggressive shutdowns. It was widely censored, so maybe you didn’t get to explore what they had to say. |
Show me the data that supported the ridiculous Covid vaccine mandates for kids to attend public schools in Los Angeles, NYC and DC. I know for a fact that you won’t be able to find any because it never existed. Those local public health officials implemented unnecessary COVID vaccine mandates for KIDS without any data to back up that decision. Once public health officials started creating public health policy based on ‘Trust me, bro’ they lost public trust. |
