So checking out books under false pretenses and then burning them allows us to arrive at the truth, how, exactly? |
This should be the footage on every Democratic campaign ad in Virginia in 2022. |
If a kid checks out a library book with the intent on their part or their parent's part being to burn it, and then the parent takes or allows the kid to go to an event where the book is actually burned, I kind of hope the student is banned from the school library for an extended period of time. You can't just borrow something - knowing full well you don't intend to return it & in fact want to destroy it - and then pay the same fine that's paid in case of accidental loss or damage, then expect to go right back to being trusted to borrow school property. If that book burning event happens, that's just nuts. |
I'm no lawyer but wouldn't this be destruction of property and aiding and abetting? |
So two random school board members in Fredericksburg = "The GOP"? Interesting. DP |
Which GOP have spoken out against this? |
Do members of the GOP or Democratic Party generally speak out about comments made by random local school board members? |
+1 Illiterate, hysterical moms. |
Apparently random local school board members got Youngkin elected. |
Your wild strawmen and gaslighting are getting you nowhere. Other than two school board members in Fredericksburg, no one wants to burn any books. They simply don't want inappropriate sexual content in public school libraries. You can easily pick up all the trash you want your kids to read at any public library. No worries. |
About book burning? Yes, it comes up. I haven’t seen a single maga on this board speak out against it. |
Wasn’t that Youngkin’s winning platform? We keep hearing that you all voted for Youngkin because of local school boards. Make up your mind. |
WTH are you talking about? Once again: two random SB members does not mean a majority of people want to “burn books.” Your hyperbole is idiotic. |
Do you condemn book burning? |
