We are moving to the area and my oldest will begin kindergarten in the fall. We are looking primarily at being either within the Churchill or Colvin Run school districts. Any experience with their after-kindergarten program? Anyone with experience with their after-school program? I know to begin with that the waiting lists for after-care are huge. Beyond this, I am worried about the dynamic of so many kids K-6 lumped together, especially for the littler ones. Any insight into the programs is appreciated- Thank you!

We are moving to McLean/Vienna and are looking for part-time pre-school for my youngest who will be 3 years old this spring. I would like a 3-day program. I think Country Day School has such a program, but everywhere read how difficult it will be to enroll. I haven't yet applied and their application deadline is Jan 15th, so I'm guessing my chances to be very slim. Any other 3-day programs out there that anyone would recommend? Thanks in advance for your recommendations/advice !
