Probably because people use it around the world, and people around the world have accents.

Here's a video from Veo. You can hear how the co-founder and CEO pronounces it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KMilobU4vo

Here's their youtube channel so you can hear it pronounced a multitude of ways: https://www.youtube.com/@Veotechnologies
If you're paid up in full they should release your card. If they don't, they should do so when you tell them the governing body is getting involved.
Go ask the TDs and Age Group Directors.
Practice with both teams and guest play with both teams as well.
I'm the PP that was filming the CYA 13G game with the Veo camera. There's nothing more to the story on my part. I was filming at Sully Highlands on the parent sideline at the midfield line well away from the touchline.

Yeah it's unusual that someone is filming a SFL game on a Veo, but I use it primarily for my other child's travel games, and if I'm going to spend that much out of pocket for it, I'm going to maximize the use. Also, having memories of your own sports games is a joy you can cherish forever. Even when the CYA Rec Director got on the phone with the CYA 13G Weber team to tell them filming was permitted and to look around at all the other people with cell phones, they stayed aggressively firm that they were in the right with their demands that I cease recording. "We do not consent" was repeated multiple times.

Others have said that the team may have had travel players who shouldn't be on the team.
At this age it's best to have fun and be in a supportive, encouraging environment. I live near you and have similar-aged children. Feel free to PM me.
Typically you need at least $2,000 of experience.
Football is life!
Uh they're probably only allowed to roster 12 per team. So if they're having 15 pay $3500...uhhh...

And do you even have a player card? What team is he rostered with? What team are all the 15 actually rostered with?

Sounds like a cash grab to me.
Depending on which TSJ FCV it is, the games could be ok or complete blowout losses: https://clubchampionsleague.demosphere.com/_element_display/#%2Fscripts%2Frunisa.dll%3FM2%3Agp%3A484806.9566%3A75011%2BElements%2FDisplay%2BE%2B1531148%2BSchedules%2F%2B103125942

Loudoun is better.
Revolution may work for you too.

It's changed a lot in recent years. CCL is hanging on by a thread with many low-caliber teams.

CCL was more competitive than NCSL, however a lot of teams have been leaving for ECNL-RL instead.

When was the last time your child played in CCL...?
What age group?
I'm guessing you're not buying a house based on rec soccer leagues. Your time would be better spent getting under contract before you research rec soccer leagues. Why would you even want to worry about rec soccer leagues when you have to deal with low inventory and then maybe also inspection, financing, and appraisal contingencies?

Spring season has already started so just finish up wherever you are and come back in the summer about Fall soccer.
