I've never understood it. I don't even mind watching the occasional reality tv trashy show, but it's never appealed to me personally. They sure know how to make money out of nothing though!
That's absurd! It seems like they distribution of the vaccine is out of whack everywhere. I know several health care workers that are just getting vaccinated now - after working for months not knowing if they'd get sick. And yet politicians and athletes seem to get it at their convenience.
Not sure if you've taken care of this already or not, but I'd recommend this company: https://threemenandatruck.net/ - we used them last year to move an old (and heavy) armoire to our new home and they were great. Ask about "white glove" moving, which I think means they handle more delicate things that need extra care when moving them.
I don't think it will bring them down, but it is a little frustrating. I'm more irritated that they cancel so many decent shows after one or two seasons. Sometimes it takes time to build of momentum and for people to realize an under the radar show is actually very good.
I'd still be pretty cautious about company, especially a sleepover. We kept things pretty minimal through the holidays, which was rough because of grandparents, but there's some health problems in the family so it was a no brainer. Our kids have done a few zoom calls with friends on the computer (with varying results and levels of interest), but we're still being very careful about having company over for the kids. The recent spike in cases just makes it too risky.
