I would love to hear more about BCC Select baseball 10U. I understand that you have to try out every year. If you make it in your first year, does that give you a better chance of making it going forward, or should we have our son try out for KOA or another league just in case he has a bad tryout? I have not loved BCC, but that is where we have been since T-Ball. I would love any insights into KOA, if people like it over BCC. Thanks in advance

I am a first time parent and I am a bit clueless about a how the whole Nanny Share process works in DC. We are completely out of luck for a daycare, so it looks like the nanny share route is going to have to be our plan. My baby is due in December and I plan to go back to work in March. When should I start looking for a nanny and when should I start to look for another couple. I am guessing we find the other parents first and then jointly look for a nanny? What is the best route for finding another baby, neighborhood listserv or something like that? Best place to find the nanny, Care.com? Any and all advice is greatly welcomed and appreciated!

My doctors office just called to say that I have a UTI and now I am worried because I gave my urine sample a week ago and they are just now getting me my test results. I assume that the infection has gotten worse. I've been prescribed Keflex (an antibiotic) twice a day for 7 days. Has anyone else had a UTI during pregnancy? I really have had no noticeable symptoms other than having to urinate a lot, which I just chalked up to being pregnant. Anyone else had a UTI and have you had any complications? Also, what if it has spread to my kidney? Does anyone have experience with kidney infections and pregnancy? I am 28 weeks along and I am due an appointment next week, so hopefully by next Thursday and the course of antibiotics everything will be back to normal, I just wish they had got me the results sooner. Sorry for rambling I am just mad!
