OP here: Has anyone tried the 2-day course at Washington Adventist Hospital. My husband just called and said he saw something there and it goes a bit into infant care and breastfeeding.

Any recommendations on instructors for the Bradley method?
I'm 26 weeks pregnant and just started looking into childbirth classes. I would like to have a natural birth if possible, but understand that there may be unforeseen complications. What would you recommend for a first-timer? After a short poll with my friends, I was even more confused. Some didn't do any classes, some did both types, one person did the Bradley method, etc. All of these choices are expensive and my DH is reluctantly agreeing to do at least one that is under $200. Both of the options listed in the header meet that requirement at least...
Oops. Forget it. I finally located the correct thread. I don't know how to delete this. Here's the website that was posted https://www.mychildcaredc.com/
I'm 23 weeks pregnant and worried about child care for my little one. How do you find in home daycare in D.C.? I've searched DCUM and found sites posted for people in Maryland and NOVA, but nothing in D.C. The prices at regular daycare centers are scary and a nanny share would be ideal, but I'd like to keep my options open in case we can't work something out with someone. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
I'm 23 weeks preggo and worried about child care for my little one. I can work on stalling child care with the help of my mother through next summer, but the baby will need to go somewhere in August when she's 9 months old. How do you find in home daycare? How do you know if the provider is good? The prices at regular daycares are scary and a nanny share would be ideal, but I'd like to keep my options open in case we can't work something out with someone. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
