Hi my son had really bad eczema and we used every cream in the world and nothing seemed to help. However, Cetaphil cleanser and lotion does wonders also and my doctor recommended leaving out dairy products and it did wonders it took a second to get use to alternative foods but I made the change and it has done wonders for him he hasnt had a breakout in months you should def. try it. Hope this helps
My son has had an ear infection on and off for the last month and Im starting to get a little worried. Hes been to the doctor and given antibotics 3 times and the infection will go away and then pop back up again. He is teething so Im not sure if this is the cause but I eas wondering if anyone else has had this experience and also if anyone has any rememdies that have worked for their baby hes 11 months old. Thanks
My son actually had the same thing he was experiencing alot of congestion and my doctor had me cut out dairy from my diet. Yes, all dairy was restricted! I thought it would be hard but since I was breastfeeding my doctor told me that we are not able to digest dairy products properly and that they actually cause a lot of mucus. As adults we have built up a certain immunity to it but for infants its like a foreign agent in the body. So, i suggest cutting out dairy and using Soy based formula to help your little one out.it helped my son out significantly. He has not had any congestion for months. Hope this helps!
Yea.. I see what you mean.
One World Fitness in Nw Dc its on the corner of 14th and S St www.oneworldfitnessdc.com. They have childcare I go and I love it!
No, no spam just thought it would be good for some moms to get some time away and I saw that others put up suggestions of places they used or liked. Anyways, does anyone else do any mommy time that they enjoy that they can recommend like good yoga classes or any other kind of fun exercise things that are also kid friendly would love to know! Thanks
My son is 9 months old and I am attempting to slowly wean him from nursing. I don't want it to be a traumatic experience for him and would like to do it gradually, but he is not interested in taking a bottle from me at all and if Im even in the house will not take the bottle from his dad he'll just wait out until I just nurse him. He also just started to eat foods like last week, he is a very picky eater and was just solely drinking breastmilk but now finally is eating fruits and veggies. Just wanted to see if anyone had any tricks or suggestions of how they weaned their baby. Thanks
Hello Ladies,

I just recently decided to take some time out for myself and get some ME time which for awhile I thought was very selfish but after just this week have come to the conclusion that it is necessary not just as a woman but for me to be a better wife and mother. I joined a personal training studio the name of it is One World Fitness its in NW DC, I heard about it from a girlfriend and the first thing I thought to myself was personal training it must be super expensive and I don't have the time! Well, finally my friend convinced me to go for a consultation and I had a ball, I got a great workout in and got to sit down with a trainer and talk about my goals and what I wanted to change with my body( to be quite honest with you it was nice to talk about myself for a change Anyways, they got me on a personalized training program and I have been working with a trainer 3 times a week and I not only get a great workout in but they are kid friendly and have no problem if I bring my son with me if I can't find a babysitter(which is always a plus) Since I started working out I have noticed that not only am I shrinking weight wise but my energy has sky rocketed and I feel all around amazing! So, anyways my point to this post is TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF! Ultimately, your helping your family and yourself so everyone benefits.
