She's gone? I swear I saw her yesterday...

Ways you can stay in contact with your school:

Countywide - www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org (also has a twitter feed)

School by School - http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/#tabs - here you can find the school's website. Sometimes a really good way to find out what is going on is through the PTA. Some PTAs have listserves, facebook pages, twitter feeds that may or may not be up to date. Ask around your neighborhood of people who have schoolage children - they may know whether there's an active listserve/facebook or twitter feed.
Read the chapter in Nurtureshock by Po Bryson about it - it sounds like a great program, and I wish I had access to it for my child. Executive functioning (which is what Tools of the Mind is all about) is key to doing well - kids can grasp the "academics" but if they don't have the executive functioning skills to be able to focus, learn, stay on task, and execute, the academics don't mean squat.
I think he may have left it at the Starbucks at Wildwood Plaza yesterday afternoon. It's brown of medium size. Very cute and very loved. If you have seen it please respond. There will be a very unhappy little boy if teddy goes missing for good.

Thanks for any leads.

I'm not an idiot - don't you think I would have done that????!! A little respect, please. It is not on their website yet, and probably won't be for a couple months, and, as I noted, I was wanting a ballpark figure for budgeting purposes.

I do. It's also a good provider - my children were at the B-CC location before we switched to Rock Spring - for reasons wholly unrelated to CITS. I prefer Rock Spring, but you should check them both out. I am happy to talk with you offline if you'd like.
Second the recommendation for Rock Spring - we have 2 children there who love it immensely. We live in North Bethesda and will be attending Garrett Park ES (eventually) - the commute is great, the teachers are great, the facility is clean and fun for the kids. Cannot be more happy (unless there was a price cut, but, in this case, I feel we get our money's worth). If you have any specific questions, I'm happy to answer. And no, I am not on the Board or any way affilliated with the Center beyond the fact that I have children there.
Due to people getting ill from E.coli from eating the dough raw - just an FYI. I do believe the packages say not to eat the dough raw, but I could be wrong. Of course, who can resist the delicious yumminess of raw cookie dough .... mmmm... but I digress.

Anyone have any good suggestions where I can get a dozen or so small-medium size pumpkins for decorating/painting in close-in Montgomery County? I thought that I remembered the churches around here have pumpkin patches, but I haven't seen any this year? Is it just too early? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
