What does everyone think of their bracket?

How does flight III with 4 different brackets work? Top first of each bracket play a final four?

In a competitive tournament like this why do some teams choose to play up rather against their own age group? Are they looking to give their players a tougher game or does it give earlier exposure to college scouts?

Tournament has really gone downhill in the last 5 years. It used to be a top tier tournament for girls but now is just a money grab so the directors can spend frivolously on trips, sponsorships and has taken away from the true mission of the organization.

It’s still a top tier tournament.

I thought this was LMVSC's tournament? They only have two teams in it.

It has no affiliation with the club. The ED is also a member of the WAGS organization. May be the president but don't know exact role.

U14G will get shuffled some I would think. Va Union ECNL and Loudoun ECNL should move up to Cup and Coppermine and Baltimore Armour should move down. The Anbry team from florida won the national championship last year, so that should be a good measuring stick for those teams locally.

VYS Phoenix should go up a bracket or 2 after winning top flight in OBGC. They are solid and should look for that challenge.

So you're saying you are familiar with VA teams and the one team from Florida, but not the Baltimore area teams. BA is a very good team. Loudoun not so much. The people that put these brackets together usually do a good job.

I looked at BA past results- maybe they have improved but I would put them on a level of Coppermine- not the same level as those other teams in Cup bracket. Guess we will see

Armour went 4-9-3 in GA last year with no other real history provided. They have not played in any pre season tournaments to demonstrate any significant improvement.

A case can be made rankings wise for Coppermine but Armour is 11th in MD. That is just not top bracket worthy. Second bracket, absolutely but top is a stretch for them this year.

Thank you all for sending LB on vacation to France and the Minnesota. Also for her box at the Spirit games.

You will not know anything about the Florida team till they play. Teams can change a lot over a year and ten pandemic.
