I think she looked pretty great at her birthday. She was radiating happiness. The outfit was a tad Amazon delivery yes but she made it work, much more so than that dress she went to the movie premiere with. I actually applaud her for not sinking boats of money into the cosmetic stuff, which is largely a racket anyway. |
I don't hate Able's clothing. I won't buy it on principle LOL but it's decent and it looks good on her. I think she looks fine in jeans and tee shirts and honestly that's what Joanna Gaines wears most of the time. The cheap hookery clothes - that awards dress was some yikes on bikes and don't get me started on the hair - make her look old, harsh and try hard. If she'd stick to jeans and cute tops and limit her wear of word shirts and get some toner on that hair, she'd be cute. She is cute but she is doing the exact opposite of what would play up her best features. |
This is genius on top of genius! Letter perfect! I would buy five copies of your book and reach each one. Love! |
Lets see how long this one stays up.
Comment from mamabear_miche on the easy spirit shoes: I really love fun loving post-divorce Jen. Have always loved writer Jen. Cannot stand shill Jen. Surprised her 'team' hasn't deleted that one |
Her lack of style seems to stem from her not knowing who she is. She wants to be young and therefore wears immature graphic tees that most people would wear while hauling a rug to the dump. I don’t think she’s rolling in the cash either and I’d definitely rethink what she spends her money on. First and foremost I’d fire that “team” of hers because they either give her terrible advice or they give her good advice and she doesn’t listen to it and does her own thing. Either way, I’d stop wasting my money on it. The once in a blue moon z-list talk show they manage to schedule her on and the social media manager who is paid to type 🙌🙌 to the positive comments on her shill posts does not in any way pay for the fees she’s paying this company. She’s just not big enough to need the services of a media/PR agency. Maybe 15 years ago she was but she could pare down and save money. If the same person who is doing her pr and marketing is the same one who introduced her to Tyler, I’d definitely get rid of them. The only goal of that was to cross-pollinate these two audiences and the only ones who benefited were Tyler and the agency. Plus, it’s an indicator that whomever is running this agency doesn’t understand personal and professional boundaries. |
Jen's style has been hit or miss for a while. I saw her at a speaking engagement over 10 yrs ago and she wore a lace dress with a crushed leather belt. It actually distracted me from her talk. But I figured she liked taking risks and having "fun" with her look. After a certain age, it's tough to pull off without a ton of money and style (Iris Apfel, Diana Vreeland, etc.)
Meg would be so much prettier if she fixed her teeth. It's not like she doesn't have money now to fix them, as she is somehow able to accompany Jen on multiple trips. Please, people, don't take this as a jab at folks who have no money to fix their teeth. |
Maybe she had to let go of her assistant? I am curious as to where the revenue is coming in. How much longer will she have the podcast? I am disappointed at how bad it is. The sound quality, the production values. She is not a good interviewer, and she has had some incredible "gets." Any book updates? |
“she is not a good interviewer”
*** This is so true. |
I’ve never dared listen to her podcast because it looks cheesy and terrible. Does she somehow turn every conversation back to herself and make it all about her? |
She is too much of a narc to be a good interviewer and she's prob. too full of herself to look into training. It's hard to get the full sense of what her guests have to share because there's a constant "Back to me" going on. If you watch them on YouTube, she constantly touches her face and plays with her hair. She's probably using the monitor as a mirror instead of using the eye contact to connect with who she's interviewing.
Super unprofessional and most of the people she brings on haven't been interesteing enough to sit through the Jen show. I think anyone who was a really big deal would be put off by this shit show. |
She’s a terrible interviewer as she isn’t very good at getting beyond the surface on any topic and is way too sickly sweet at making the interviewee feel comfortable. Makes for terrible media. |
It is still up, surprisingly. I thought she was usually speedy in deleting anyone who dared speak against her and blocking them. If she doesn't have someone working for her on her social media, she's surely aware of the comment. She doesn't seem like someone who would get very far removed from her device. The shilling, here's the deal. These content creators have to do it to stay alive. Anyone who consumes content online in 2024 surely knows this. I think the offensiveness lies in the lack of relatable content in between the shills and the "all over the place" feel of what she is shilling. If she was smart - which we all have our doubts about here - she'd address the shilling and explain to her audience this is how she earns her living. But then she'd have to insert some hollow inflluencer language about "How I don't put any products in front of you I don't ONE ZILLION percent recommend." On some level, we all know this is a lie but at least try a little. And, her lack of appropriate disclosure needs to be remedied. Because it's 2024 and even Jen Hatmaker's corn eaters know to look for #ad and #sponsored - FOR THE LOVE |
Tyler & Jen are appearing with Danielle Walker of Against All Grain in Denver on 9/21. Tickets start at $5.
Guess they're prolonging the agony until then. What. A. Joke. |
Also further proof she should fire her media “team” if these are the bookings they are getting for her. |
Gotta love this copy on Tyler’s story/ad for his next appearance with Jen:
“Denver!! Come see the homie Danielle Walker on Sept 21!! I’ll be there!!” |
