I’m going to with the week of September 13th.
|
Your schools open on the 30th so that seems accurate. Two weeks is the standard infection spread rate for the other schools to be knocked into virtual. |
Just stop. There are not going to be “school closures.” There will be quarantining of individual students and possibly classes but entire schools and districts are not going to be closing. |
Oct 1 |
+1 Our high vaccination rates here will keep it localized. |
I wish there were examples of schools fully opened elsewhere in the US and world successfully? Oh yeah, there are. The few temporary closures are an extremely small amount. These types of posts are cognitive dissonance for the closed school activists of last year. It must be so uncomfortable to be so wrong on school closures while so many APS kids suffered (see SOL scores) as a result of the policies that you've strenuously advocated for. |
I predict the first day the whole district will close. APS will take out a full page ad in the Washington Post admitting how wrong they were about everything.
Is that good enough OP? |
Absolutely agree. |
Following up that will be private school parents posting that they are soo glad they left APS and their children are thriving. |
This. But OP seems to be rooting for a closure. |
“Closed school activists”? You are out of touch with reality. |
Tuesday. Is that what you want to hear? |
That is 100 percent a thing. Read these boards for a couple of days. |
It's only a thing in APE's minds. |
A lot of schools have had to close down so it could happen. Has APS done enough? I guess we will see.
I was not impressed to see my kids' principal tweet out a picture of herself unmasked talking to a roomful of staff, and then go into the open house to see kids' desks in pods. So I'm holding my breath for the email about the outbreak....... |
