Chanel: you are trying really hard to be perceived as classy but you look basic and a little uptight
YSL: you are also basic and always just a little bit behind the trends. Hermès (esp the birkin): you are filthy rich and you want everyone to know it Gucci: you are loud and showy. You already know this and don’t care. Louis Vuitton: it is not a centerpiece to your outfit and you are boring but practical with fashion or you wear it like a ~luxury bag- and you are a high maintenance try hard Not really designer but I’m including: Michael Kors: you desperately wish you could afford designer but can’t. You love discount retailers like Marshall’s and Ross. Coach: it’s 2010 and you live in the suburbs. Or you wear a basic tote for work and wish it was designer but tell yourself you just want something practical. Please add more if the mood strikes and, people, don’t take this list too seriously, I’m sure you look great with your handbag… |
|
| Tory Burch: you are preppy and like a “ work uniform”. You do not care about fashion but do care about brands. |
| Bottega Veneta? |
| Kate Spade: The poor woman's Prada. |
|
I love Channel bags. The originals were made so well.
Spot on OP on the rest I agree. LOL |
| NPR canvas bag? |
| Hmmm all I own is Balenciaga and Prada so what does that make me? |
| Can we also describe in stereotypes the kind of person who not only thinks about stuff like this but then takes the time to write about it? |
| How does this work if you own multiple brands? I guess then you can’t be conveniently put in a box. |
You’ve got money to burn and you like classic styles with an edge. You are completely out of touch with the average American lifestyle. |
Yeah, I have every brand in OP except LV. It’s because I love fashion/design. |
You’re middle aged or older. Your favored vacation locale is Italian countryside. |
You are my 18 year old sister who is pissed she didn’t get into NYU and listens to grownup podcasts because she is an ~intellectual~ |
This is the mullet combination of handbag ownership. Business in the front, party in the back. |
