What your designer bag says about you

People are going to judge you whether your bag is cheap or expensive, whether you wear lots of makeup or no makeup, if you’re always stylish or frumpy. Find the people who value you for you and buy/wear what makes you happy.

I buy bags based on what I like, not what "brand" they are. In fact, I'll never buy anything that's branded with a logo. I don't want people knowing "what I'm wearing."

Virtue signaling. You want everyone to know you are intellectual and above trivial things like fashion.

(This is 100% me. Juice boxes and hand wipes for the win)

Jimmy Choo: I’m better than you. Did you notice the Choo? Yeah, i figured I’d get some use out of it because my Celine is for weekends.

Le Pilage: I’m between the ages of 18-24. My mom bought it for me for sorority rush at a SEC school, go phi mu! Now I’m (some junior position) for a Republican congressman on the hill. That is, until Beau and I get married and we go back to Alabama.

LOL this is 100% me. Most recently bought a Marc Jacobs bag through discount seller (gilt) and I hardly wear it because I have young kids so mostly take a non branded dirty tote or an old small crossbody Michael Kors bag (also bought not full price) because I don’t get out often and the Marc Jacobs bag feels so heavy.

I also had the Longchamp when I was in a sorority in college. I saw a mom friend with one and I remembered what a convenient bag it was and have thought about buying another. They are so convenient to just chuck everything into.

They are the Australian equivalent of Coach. Established but old hat - not trendy.

This all depends. LV and Gucci can both look either super showy and gaudy (with the logos) or very understated, if you choose the leather ones without logos.
