Why do I have a thing for men in a position of authority over me?

Is anyone else here extremely turned on by authority? I have always been attracted to people positions of authority over me (teachers, bosses, older people in general if that counts). Right now I can’t stop getting turned on over thinking about one of my supervisors because he sided with me recently over some issues in my department and told my coworkers to do what I asked. He’s old, out of shape, and doesn’t have a great personality but ever since he basically came to my defense, I can’t stop getting horny over it and I think it’s just because he’s my superior. Am I crazy or is this a thing?

I’m the same way. But only sexually not for a relationship. I think if I were to psychoanalyze it’s because I’m lazy and want someone to free me from deciding things for myself.

How do you know I have the inability to be intimate? Can’t people just have a hookup, and other relationships too?

It’s not daddy issues, it’s the appeal of not having to be in control/in charge for a while. It’s the same reason people like cruises and Disney world imo.

I don’t think daddy issues are the thing for women, I think that’s a man thing. I don’t think a woman exists who sincerely wants to call a man “daddy.”
