| On the boys side, looks like BRYC 's ECNL teams are doing well against B teams from other clubs. |
| HOT but overall our boys had a good weekend |
Can only Beat the teams you are scheduled to play |
| Good fields. Games started on time. Saw full ref crews at all fields my kids played at. |
True. And they aren't blowing out the B teams, so it probably is probably the right level competition for them. |
Itβs pre season. |
Right. That is why they are doing well. They don't win regular season games. |
How do you wake up every day and continue to be so miserable? What's it like to spend every waking hour bashing a boys soccer team? Aspire to something higher. Maybe take up backgammon or something? Anything - because the path you're on is not healthy. |
I'm happy. I made a post about BRYC's teams actually doing well. You keep commenting and I keep agreeing with you. Nothing miserable here. |
U13 was 30 minute halves with 80 minute windows. Some games started 5-15 minutes late. Mostly on time. |
| Some blowouts in the u14 girls bracket π |
Same in U14 Boys COPA Bracket. VA Union FC won 13-0 (results capped at 10) and no goals scored against them all tournament. They probably should have been placed in the Premier bracket. |
Crazy. That is not good for anyone. They were tied for the worst record with BRYC in ECNL last year. Those two are going to remain there if they are getting ready for the season by playing B and C teams. |
I don't understand. Is somebody betting their mortgage on 13 year olds playing soccer? If not, why the fixation with how many games a team wins in one of the toughest leagues in the country? It seems incredibly shortsighted and childish, but maybe it's just me. |
I don't understand what you don't understand. Nobody is betting. Where did you get that from? If you are in a top league and want to improve, you don't play B and C and below level teams when you are ramping up to play league games. |
