We prefer classic names. Older siblings are Caroline, Elizabeth (Eliza), and Jane. We're finding it really hard to pick a name that hasn't already been used by one of our siblings or very close friends. We like: Katherine, Emma, Grace, Sophie, and Charlotte but they're all being used by a sibling or close friend whom we see all the time.
I like Lydia but Dh is meh on it. Dh also has a weird thing about not wanting the girls to have names that start with the same first letter. So we couldn't have an Eliza and an Eleanor, for instance. He thinks they sound too similar. Any help? |
| What about something that can be shortened to Kate. Kathleen, for example, if Katherine is off the table. |

For some reason the letter M is coming to me after reading your thread. Consider:
Miranda Mireille Miriam Marianne Mary / Maria / Marie |
|
I also think M seems to fit next.
Miranda Mara Margot |
|
Margaret
Margot Vivienne/Vivian Francesca |
| Lucy |
|
Frances
Helena Anne or Anna Margaret Marianne Beatrice Meredith Sylvia Sarah Lily/Lillian |
|
I looked at the names of Jane Austen characters, which is kind of your vibe:
Anne Marianne Georgiana Frances Harriet Lucy Julia Mary Maria Sarah Penelope Louisa Margaret |
|
Love your names! I’d suggest:
Audrey Amelia Louisa Kathleen Lauren Samantha Juliet |
|
Names I haven't seen listed yet:
Florence Laura Maude Ada Hannah Rebecca Victoria Genevieve |
| Be careful with Lydia if you are not an Austen fan. You’d have three of the five Bennett girls. |
Plus Caroline (Bingley). |
| Alice |
Melissa |
