No. You're not going to police my language. I will call them racists, I will call them jerks, I will call them entitled, and if I feel like, I will also call the Karen. The fact that you think you can control the language of other people is exactly why the meme exists. Your sphere of influence does not extend to what I do or say.

Top pp, why are you making common cause with conservative white men and women over the need to use an offensive meme to shut up white women?

1) I don't care about offending you. I believe white people could stand to be a little more uncomfortable.

2) This is an anonymous forum. Just because you all decided posters were conservative, men, etc. because that made you feel better about trying to shout them down, doesn't make it true.

Angry black woman. Karen. Tiger mom.

All labels that need to disappear.

And yet we have over 60 pages of hand-wringing on Karen and only Karen. I see through your crap.

That is literally the title of the post. If you want to make a new post advocating to end the use of the other terms - be my guest. I don’t use any of those terms.

You brought up the other labels, not me. I simply pointed out that we've got a 60 something page thread of injured white women whining, and I've never seen a similar outcry on DCUM over the others. Someone came for white women with a meme and you all lost your sh!t.

Look - it’s an anonymous forum. It’s hard to tell who is posting. I did not mention the other labels.

It’s not that hard. We see you.

And I see you, creep.

Is that an insult? We still see you.

Again, it wasn’t me who said that. I didn’t think it was worthy of a response.

Probably for other labels most people admit they’re bad and there’s not much to discuss. This one we are still have to make our case and being gaslighted.

I never tried to say ever you can't ever challenge me about race, ever again. Not sure where you're getting that.

Trying to make me feel sh!tty for trying isn't a great approach. I went down with my family once and with some black friends the second time. They seemed to think it was a good thing, so I'll hold on to that.

This is the rewriting of reality to fit a narrative that irritates the hell out me when dealing with y'all. I suggested you or whichever PP I was talking to channel their energy into actual issues. It was then suggested that I had not done anything (like they did because they went to a protest and read a book). I said I read the same book some time ago, this issue is not new for me. That is how this conversation began. I'm not trying to make you feel shifty for trying. I countered the points that were made against me. That is all.

I posted the other labels. But I'm not any of the three posters right above this one. In particular, I'm not "Look--it's an anonymous forum...," whom the next poster is claiming to "see" as the author of the labels.

Pull yourselves together, people. Stop the stupid gotcha games.

Then stop rewriting the narrative yourself. I've bolded where you claimed I think I'm immune from challenge. I never, ever said that.

You keep mocking me for going to the protest and reading the book. Lots of condescending, snarky stuff about how you read it "years ago" when you were reading tons of other books on the subject.

I get it. You're angry and you have a right to be. But instead of abusing people and making up stuff, why don't you start threads on topics you think are important. Or participate on existing threads on topics you think are important.

Part of the reason this thread has gone on 60 pages is the participation of Tweedledee and Tweedledum. I didn't give them those names, but they're conservative posters who overuse emojis and just will.not.let.go. They think they have to have the last word on any thread.

Unfortunately, Tweedledee and Tweedledum are big fans of "Karen."

Threads blow up pretty quickly when Tweedledee and Tweedledum are on board.

You’re right - I am, because I think it harms all women. Usually I don’t do things for myself but for what I believe to be the greater good. And I think is the greater good for everyone is to understand that it’s not effective to use stereotypes to show why stereotypes are wrong.

It’s also why I don’t support the death penalty. I don’t think it’s good to kill people to show killing is wrong.

Oh my God the victimhood is unreal! Please re read our conversation. I made one comment (one, not lots), call it snarky if you like, saying I had also read the book, in response to you saying you bet I hadn't done anything.

You say I "keep mocking you for going to a protest" and that is also not true. You brought up the protest in response to me suggesting you actually do something, and then suggested that you had done more than me. I corrected you.

I am not mocking you. I am not abusing you. I am not making things up. I am disagreeing with you on an internet forum. But you're so hell bent on being a victim you can't even see what is actually happening.

Since the Karen meme obviously doesn't silence you, please tell me, what will make you be quiet and listen to others?? Because DAMN this is ridiculous.

There's no way I'm going to "be quiet and listen" to anybody who says it's OK to use a misogynistic term like "Karen." What a Karenish thing to demand.

You've added 5 pages to this thread yourself. Just saying. Why not take yourself over to one of the many BLM threads?

Why aren't you upset about all the threads about "Across the pond" and "bird feeding"? It's just white women that get your goat, apparently.

And btw, I don't care if you call me a victim, because I'm not. I don't care if you deny using language about "read it years ago" and "I won't give credit", because your words are right above. Keep insulting me, I don't care. But better would be for you to find something you see value in.
