Now if you are a GA parent, well, you're a GA parent and have no future unless you play for FCV. If you're outside of GA, you really shouldn't even posting on this matter.

McLean 04 and 03 destroyed (like almost double digits) Bethesda this year.

Bethesda has always had strong players. There is 65 pages discussing what the problem is at Bethesda.

I'm not a McLean or a BSC parent. I think scrimmages do not mean as much as league games. But they don't mean nothing either.

The first time Bethesda 06 SCRIMMAGED Mclean 06 (last summer and the score was 8-0 (Bethesda won) and the second time they SCRIMMAGED (in the fall), Mclean won 1-0. If that is what you want to hang your hat on then so be it.

The most amusing thing about this post is that there is just so much hating. If you don’t like BSC why waste so much time and energy on it. Hopefully your child is playing in the best place for them but slamming another club, pulling one sided scrimmage stats up and accusing coaches of posting here is really juvenile (albeit sometimes entertaining.)

Haha, funny! It’s actually 2 Mclean parents. One is a 06 parent and the other is a 08 parent. The other Bethesda haters include a 08 Potomac/Metro parent as well as the Loudoun and FCV dad that hates any club but there own.

This forum proves that there are crazy parents at every single club. The fact that your daughter is in college and you are still trolling DCUM about Bethesda shows that you are crazy too. Let it go and root for your daughter’s college soccer team (unless of course she is not on it.) And I am not even a Bethesda parent but can admit there is crazy everywhere.

Not Kevin or any coach, but Bethesda 05s scored. And PDA is that good. So far this year:

PDA 07s have scored 60 goals and conceded 4 in 11 games. Last ECNL season they scored 50 and conceded 4. Bethesda 07 scored 2 of those 4.

PDA 06s scored 11 and conceded 0. Last ECNL season they scored 35 and conceded 4. Bethesda 06 scored 3 of those 4.

PDA 05s scored 19 and conceded 2. Bethesda scored 1 of those 2.

I could go on, but you get the point. PDA is dominant.


Last weekend was a rough one for BSC, for sure. But as one post said, there’s no shame in that result against PDA. There aren’t many clubs that can match PDA blue across the board. PDA was dominant across age groups with the exception of the 06s. PDA 06s could barely get the ball across midfield. BSC was way too fast for PDA and completely dominated the entire game and should have scored at least 4 goals. But they couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. Coulda shoulda woulda. The girls learned that they gotta take advantage of every opportunity. PDA had an awesome goalkeeper and some very good defenders - game 2 between those teams will be fun to watch. All said, the results last weekend were not unexpected. The likely most unexpected result was how dominant the BSC 06s were.

Haha This message board does show just how “passionate” parents can be about youth soccer. Unfortunately, It’s what often ruins it for kids.

So looks like KL and his ride or die parent did not have any rebutting to do for some time now on here. Allegedly BSC tryouts were not well attended by prospects from area clubs, while Pipeline and MUFC had high turnout. Could we also see an exodus, of what's left of the talent, from BSC once the girls season is over?

350 girls from outside the club attended ID sessions and tryouts from all ages. Pipeline and Maryland United had good turnout too - because last year, nobody from the failed DA : now GA could shop around.

Maryland United and Pipeline had many girls from GA, EDP and ECNL RL attend. I think it’s great to look around

Bethesda landed great talent in this process. One ID session for 2 age groups had 80 kids alone on the first night
