I’m a Democrat (a real one, not just a Republican who pretends to be Democrat online) and I wasn’t thrilled when Biden won the nomination. I voted for Elizabeth Warren. But I’ve been pretty happy with Biden. He’s done a lot, especially given the strong headwind of the GOP’s rising fascism and the other headwind of the “mainstream” media hating his guts and undercutting wherever possible. Frankly I find the constant harping on Biden’s age to be ageism in the absence of any proof that he’s actually slipping. Did you see that for the first time in forty years, America’s economy is doing better than China’s? That’s effing monumental. He keeps trying for all Americans and the GOP keeps batting down as much as they can. I’ve been happy with Biden and I’m excited to vote for him again. Although I’ll be honest. I get more excited to vote for him the dumber the criticisms against him are. |
If you want to educate yourself about who your third party vote helps to win the election, do that. If you want to remain an ignoramus, your choice. You do you. |
I too agree with a lot of what Manchin said in that interview. I don't know that he is the right person for the job but someone likely will eventually need to step up to replace Biden as Trump's primary competition in the 2024 general election. No sane person wants Trump back in office and it's becoming more and more evident everyday that Biden is not the favorite to be beat Trump that he should be and we need him to be. Turning 81 next month, Biden is likely to do more to hurt his case for re-election than to help it between now and election day 2024. We've already asked too much of him and we should be thankful for what he has given us in return while letting him retire to spend his final days in leisure. |
Interesting new tack from another Republican poster, but you’re really tedious with this trolling. |
I look forward to Governor Newsom being the 2024 Democrat nominee |
If this country wants to take our kids down to the polling place and show them how to fill in the circle to put a rapist back in the oval office than maybe we deserve that level of presidential representation. Maybe that is the ugly truth about where this country is at this point. |
And if voters are too stupid too understand that using your one vote to throw away to no labels does nothing to keep that rapist out of the oval office and probably helps him, maybe that is also the ugly truth. That is certainly what no labels is counting on. |
No labels has no candidate. What we need American voters to do is to vote for whoever is most likely to beat Trump of the candidates running in 2024. It's becoming more and more evident every day that the person most likely to beat Trump isn't Joe Biden. |
+1 “Former Wisconsin Reps. Reid Ribble, a Republican from Green Bay, and Ron Kind, a La Crosse Democrat, joined Gephardt Wednesday in opposing a potential No Labels candidate. Both men, who were members of the No Labels-founded bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, contended the 2024 election was not the right time for a third-party candidate.” https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/elections/2023/11/16/ex-congressmen-warn-against-no-labels-3rd-party-presidential-effort/71592385007/ |
He is the only candidate that has in fact beaten trump. Take a look at that instead of listening to some anonymous poster hanging in the no labels thread on dcum. |
This is true but 2024 isn't 2020 and I don't want to be a lazy minded fool with the blood of a Trump 2024 victory on my hands. |
California is already given for the Dems. Whitmer would be the candidate to run for a guaranteed victory over Trump. Newsome would likely easily beat Trump too but we're looking for the absolutely guarantee that Biden can't give us. |
Trump has only driven voters away. Repulsed them. |
