I don't know that he is the right person for the job but someone likely will eventually need to step up to replace Biden as Trump's primary competition in the 2024 general election. No sane person wants Trump back in office and it's becoming more and more evident everyday that Biden is not the favorite to be beat Trump that he should be and we need him to be. Turning 81 next month, Biden is likely to do more to hurt his case for re-election than to help it between now and election day 2024. We've already asked too much of him and we should be thankful for what he has given us in return while letting him retire to spend his final days in leisure. [/quote]
