Who is the greatest love of your life? Is it your spouse or someone else?
DEFINITELY THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY
My dog.
I don't have that. I don't know if it's me, just the way I';m wired, or if I never met my "soul mate" but I just don't feel like I have a love of my life.
Spouse for sure. I don’t always feel that deep intense secure love but sometimes I do and I have never experienced that with anybody else.
(Not sometimes, more like “frequently”) |
Easily my husband! We knew each other for a few years before we got together, a period when I had a few BF’s. But he was so cute, smart and fun that I decided to put our friendship at risk by taking it to a new level and I’m so glad I did. We’ve been married a long time and he is still cute, smart and fun. On top of it he’s been incredibly successful and a wonderful father.
Spouse. Met at 26. It's been 25-years.

I had a boyfriend in college before I met my spouse that I had a really deep love for. But we were so young, and he had a military commitment after graduation. We talked about getting married, but we were only 19 & 22, and it just seemed impossible. I was naive enough to think that live like that would come again.
He came back into my life a few years alter before he got married, and we had a lot of long talks, but I was in medical school, and he wanted to be career military. I was still young, and I couldn’t see another path besides the one I was on. We are both married now. Both have four kids. I haven’t spoken to him since he got married. |
Spouse, without a doubt. Our marriage is effortless and so happy.
Spouse no question. We got together at 18 and we're still going strong 20 years later.
Daughter.
Spouse. Met senior year of college, almost two decades ago.
My spouse! After 30 years he can still make my heart race. Prior BF’s faded after a few months!
My wife
