Who is the greatest love of your life? Is it your spouse or someone else?

My spouse. I was previously married for 19 years and he was married for 20. We met and instantly knew we were meant to be together. He moved across the country to be with me. Most intense love of my life.

My daughter. No love could compare to how much I love her. I feel lukewarm about my spouse.

My children from the moment I first saw them in the delivery room. Even now as adults I feel the same way. But in terms of "hot love" it really is my husband. Whatever I might have ever hoped for in a husband he has overdelivered on. I won't bore you with the details but after 30+ years the romance continues.

Are you male or female and is this your only child?

We talked about getting married, but we were only 19 & 22, and it just seemed impossible. I was naive enough to think that live like that would come again.
He came back into my life a few years alter before he got married, and we had a lot of long talks, but I was in medical school, and he wanted to be career military. I was still young, and I couldn’t see another path besides the one I was on.
We are both married now. Both have four kids. I haven’t spoken to him since he got married.

My mom. I love my husband and my best friend, but she understood me better than anyone.

How do you know if they got away?

Haven’t met yet? I’ve been married almost 30 years and we’ve been dealt some horribly tough times but I will stay with him through a terrible disease he has.

My husband. He’s the best person I’ve ever met, and I can’t believe I was lucky enough to find him and marry him.

My DH.

Being with him is like someone turned on a bright light that illuminated the whole beautiful world. All my relationships before him were just so blah. I wish I had spent that previous relationship time boning hot randos!

My spouse. No one has ever understood me more and I feel so intensely loved for my whole self, even what I would say are my less positive qualities.

My first dog, we were beyond intuitive with each other. It was like he was a part of me out in the world and when he died part of me did too.

Not romantically, but my father. He is the best man I have ever known. The dignity, grace, resilience and kindness he has demonstrated in his life continues to awe and inspire me.
I love him so much!
