| I'm 53, and experiencing frizzy hair for the first time in my life! For those of you who have been battling this for a while, what products (i.e. conditioners or serums) have you used that are relatively inexpensive but work? |
| I figured out that at some point my hair became curly/wavy and started styling it that way. No more frizz. |
| After washing, apply a leave in conditioner plus styling cream, and air dry without touching it. I wash at night and sleep with my hair wrapped. No frizz. |
| I felt like my hair texture changed around 41. I’ve started taking supplements (viviscal, though there’s a fancier one too that I forget the name of) and that seems to help. I also go with the flow and style my hair curly in the summer. |
| Living Proof Anti Frizz Spray |
Thanks, this was the kind of answer I was looking for. I have allowed my hair to dry naturally but it still looks frizzy. |
| Curl Keeper. It is a serum and works great for me. Also, using a gel on soaking wet hair (any gel, like Aussie) will form a cast that you will then scrunch out once the hair is dry. The key to keep frizz down is to apply on soaking hair, either in the shower or spray with water if it is already drying and frizzing. |
| John Frieda frizz ease |
+1 Put it on soaking wet (not towel dried) hair and comb through. |
NP. This is what I also use. |
| Kiel’s cream with silk groom, after towel drying. You’ll have to experiment with the quantity but I use a quarter sized blob. |

Use any anti frizz serum, then let air dry halfway, finish drying with the Revlon brush. https://www.amazon.com/Revlon-One-Step-Dryer-Volumizer-Brush/dp/B01LSUQSB0/ref=asc_df_B01LSUQSB0?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=79920806881100&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583520383828931&psc=1
Dcum taught me this, and my hair never looked better. |
| John Frieda Frizz Ease apply to sopping wet hair. Style as usual. The key is hair has to be wet not towel dried. |
Which anti frizz serum do you use? |
| The anti-frizz styling products did little to curtail my frizz so I tried a Brazilian blowout this summer on the advice of a friend. Wow. I can let my hair air dry, I can touch it, I don't fear humidity or rain. Is this how other people have been living all along? I know it's not what you asked, but this has been such a revelation for me, I wanted to share. |
