What do you guys think. I think mine is pretty similar to US News (excluding Florida lol). Criteria I used were selectivity, average test scores, academic prestige, etc.

I’d put UT over Irvine and Santa Barbra but I agree with everything else.

Weird not to have UC San Diego.

If talking about as overall universities, could probably remove W&M.

Not ranked: Berkeley, UCLA, UVA, UNC, W&M, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Texas

I went to UCSD and my kid is at W&M - they both belong on the list. Irvine does not.

I mean there's a difference between the general prestige/experience of going to undergrad somewhere and the broader caliber of the university as a research institution. Some have both going for them
