| Not a good recruiting base or cannot attract as well as other clubs in similar area. |
| NOVA Mid Atlantic did not have as many games as some conferences and Carolinas. NOVA a bit stronger than Carolinas. |
The bleed talent from here on out. They’re done |
Recruiting base? What about developing players? |
Its ECNL. Development stops at u13. It’s about building a team which means replacing players not developing them. Look at this thread. How many years would you invest in development vs winning to keep the parents coming in? Answer none. |

It’s over for BRYC. Not saying that in a mean way but they could possibly go winless in all age groups. I expect FCV to get their spot or they just get ride of one club all together.
But ECNL isn’t going to allow for it |
LOL. BRYC may be done for, but FCV is not getting in. You know nothing. |
| Please give me the stats on Loudoun girls… lolz |
There are too many teams close together competing for the same player pool. Like most things it ends up with clear winners and losers, not an equal distribution. The argument for developing players, in this case, doesn’t hold any standing. At ECNL level you at least need a baseline of good athletes, size, speed, etc. to at least be competitive enough to let development have a chance. It becomes a physical mismatch no matter how good the coaching. |
| Few run away, they all flock like moths to the flame for the last 10 mins of the half if any. |

BRYC 06 girls aren't as bad as their record says. I'm sure they were a goal or two from more Ws. Unlucky.
Loudoun 07s are very good... tied for top of their bracket. I think more credit is due to most clubs as it ebbs and flows. FCV have great 03/4s... but their 06s are weakest. Happens |
I kinda of said that champ. Take a breath and read |

It's the coaching. They have plenty of players.
BRYC is 4 teams deep in most age groups (ECNL, composite, Academy, Bridge). For a club with 4 teams deep they are greatly underperforming. I think its the coaching, game formations, style of play. If you are not playing a possession type of game in ECNL these days, you had better have bigger/faster/stronger and individually super-skilled athletes to win games. BRYC doesn't have enough of those players in each age group to get away with that individual style of play. Mega clubs like Arlington and Loudon do, but BRYC is not a mega club. If they doubled their size, then yes... but they're not. The other local ECNL teams are becoming too stacked with talent, and BRYC can't match them on individual talent or playing style. Up a creek without a paddle. |
The 06 team was dealt a pretty foul hand when Larry left, they’ve struggled ever since. Many jumped ship this coming season in various age groups. It’ll be interesting to watch the cookie crumble! |
