I think its the coaching, game formations, style of play. If you are not playing a possession type of game in ECNL these days, you had better have bigger/faster/stronger and individually super-skilled athletes to win games.

BRYC doesn't have enough of those players in each age group to get away with that individual style of play. Mega clubs like Arlington and Loudon do, but BRYC is not a mega club. If they doubled their size, then yes... but they're not.

The other local ECNL teams are becoming too stacked with talent, and BRYC can't match them on individual talent or playing style. Up a creek without a paddle.[/quote]

The 06 team was dealt a pretty foul hand when Larry left, they’ve struggled ever since.  Many jumped ship this coming season in various age groups.  It’ll be interesting to watch the cookie crumble! [/quote]
