Good binge-worthy movies/TV for mom and 15yo boy

Anonymous
I’ve got my 15yo son for the weekend. Gross weather outside provides an opportunity for a mother-son binge fest inside. Would love recommendations for TV and movies; extra points for things that don’t involve the Avengers, Star Wars characters, or stupid violence/sex just for the sake of stupid violence/sex. (I’m not opposed to either, but the usage has to advance the plot and/or be part of a larger message.)

my son and I have the hardest time finding stuff we both like! Here's a few ideas that we've both liked: Rain Man, Stand By Me, Catch Me if you Can, School of Rock

My boys and I (ages 14-17) like watching:

Good Omens (Amazon Prime Video)
Gotham (can’t remember where that tv show is streaming)
McFarland, USA
The Rookie
Major League
The Replacements
The Waterboy
Happy Gilmore
Rocky III and IV
(yes, basically any sports movie. Go, underdogs!)

The Fugitive
Ready or Not
Air Force One
Love and Monsters

I'm assuming you've already watched Stranger Things and Cobra Kai? If not, they are pretty binge-worthy.

Yikes. I LOVED The Americans and watched every episode but it is SO sexually graphic I would not want to watch it with my teens.

+1 - my teen boys loved Friday Night Lights (as did I). Also, Ted Lasso! One of the best feel-good shows I have seen in a long time.
