| Outside of Arlington, what's the best soccer program for boys in Northern Virginia? |
| DC United Academy. |
| DC United if they’re good enough |
| McLean Ecnl. Let’s go! |
|
Why outside of Arlington? That’s ridiculous, from someone who lives here and kids have played there, one currently.
It’s age dependent. If they are U9-12, Arlington would not even be in my top 3. |
Arlington has strong teams in most age groups. Who would you pick over them in Northern Virginia? I am not talking about DCU or Bethesda. |
The one where your kid scores 3+ goals per game and everyone gets a trophy. Then you get major bragging rights. |
They have the largest player pool. They can’t develop in the young age groups. They get majority of players from the outside/developed elsewhere in the later years. They can win on physicality from the pool in the young years. |
| more coach dependent than club dependent. Better to look at teams instead of the club as a whole. |
Yes. And when anyone says “they have strong teams at young ages”. I know they know absolutely nothing about soccer or player development. |
And you do? Why? Did you play D1 20 years ago and now you think you know everything? Please tell us the process of true development from young ages to adulthood for every kid. |
| You all have been trolled. |
One thing I will say for Arlington, and I'm not saying that it leads to results, the practices seemed more disciplined and organized than some other clubs we looked at. But, we did not choose it because the practice locations were not convenient for us. |
| What age group? It varies a lot. |
| If your son is not already in Europe or DC United academy; it's Arlington. |
