I tried the Dallas Texans. Arlington's top teams (U13 and up) are nationally ranked: 3, 12, 71, 77, 103, and 283. Dallas Texans are 4, 23, 25, 81, 107, 122 Doesn't look wildly different to me. Any other club you want to compare against? |
| OK, it is pretty safe to say that Arlington wins more than others, but some posters claim that Arlington wins because they recruit well. What club is best in developing players? Maybe Arlington parents can help by telling us what clubs feed their top teams the most. |
| OP--yes, your son is destined for greatness because you live and 'he' plays in Arlington (not you). Get ready for all of the full ride D1 soccer scholarships, USMNT camps and the European offers. Boy oh boy, it's exciting times!! |

What is with Arlington parents? Are they this inferior in their daily lives that what their kids do matters so much? I find it's usually the 2nd string, bench sitter parents that LOVE to go on and on about how wonderful the teams are in Arlington. They take great pride in the car magnet on the back of the car.
Grow up, dude, and get a life. You only have a few more years before your kid leaves for college and you have no soccer games to attend and you see how irrelevant all of your posturing was...and the drives to the Carolinas and NJ and Philly to watch your kid get 5 minutes. |
You keep posting the same things and the same plodding mechanical self congratulatory nonsense. Whatever. You are a clown and know how to read, cut and paste charts but your view on coaching is wrong and does not mean a thing to anybody else. |
Yes. No life outside of their children. They are this way with the school system too. |
Is he blowing a Coach or something? It's weird how much he posts this. |
None of those things apply to me. I'm pleased with the club, think they do a good job and that the coaches deserve recognition. When people knock the club - it's not the current parents and players that get hurt - it makes no difference to us. It's the coaches and the kids who might have gone there but don't because they read some rubbish suggesting that Arlington don't develop kids. What you should be questioning is not the people who defend the club, but who are the folks who make up lies to discredit the achievemtnts of the very good coaching staff who do an excellent job developing players and have all the older teams playing an attractive style of soccer? |
It's not self congratulatory at all - it's congratulating an excellent coaching staff who deserve to be defended from your lies. And I only post it, when people (you?) talk nonsense. |
| I think there are too many insecure parents from other clubs that are jealous of Arlington's boys success. |
As a BSC parent, I can say Arlington is a very good, well coached club. They always field competitive teams. |
I see SYC and Alexandria more than any other club. So far best 3 clubs for boys is clear ARLINGTON, SYC, and Alexandria |
I would put Richmond and VDA in the top tier, and maybe Loudoun too. |
And yet only one of those has parents that go on and on and on...give it a rest. |
So you start a thread that boasts "EXCEPT for Arlington...who else can'. Pathetic. |
