They should seek therapy and protest through legal channels rather than harassing and cornering an innocent man in an elevator. Excuse me if I don’t think that these bullies were heroes. And BTW, I say this as a sexual assault victim.

I had assumed she was a sexual assault victim, but no, she is the Co-Director of leftest Center for Popular Democracy, based in NYC which works on immigrant rights. She got the media to fly her down, protest and storm the building w their press pass -- all on camera, of course.

Nice. Another fun day at work living off the donor funds!

And, no one knows this more than poor Judge Kavanagh who worked on the Starr investigation.

He can be seated any time. He need not be there on the first day.

I think they did it in that time frame for Anita Hill. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing (which is what the GOP previously had offered.)

When is the vote?

He was outraged that he had to address us all about that horrible yearbook. Mocked us all as if we were not entitled to ask about it.

Why did you not look at the Holton Arms Yearbook. Very similar posts regarding excessive drinking etc. Why were all of the Holton yearbooks taken down. Growing up in the mid to late 80s was a different time.

The GOP could have saved themselves the bad optics if they had opted to do the FBI investigation in the first place. Doing the right thing is the right thing to do.

Look at Gorsuch's yearbook page. Then come back to us.

But that won't be considered evidence by the FBI in this case. Watch.

On board with what, PP?

She joined Flake in saying she wants the FBI Investigation.

Super. She wanted that, I recall.

An FBI investigation is the right course of action. But I wouldn't get too excited about the prospect of Flake/Colins/Murkowski voting no in the full Senate. I wouldn't be surprised if pushing for the FBI investigation ultimately gives them (in their minds) cover to vote yes. The more likely outcome if the Kavanaugh nomination is to be blocked is that he will withdraw (perhaps at the urging of the WH, and perhaps on his own initiative). But Kavanaugh seems disinclined to do this.

Oh, I agree with you. I'm just thankful for small mercies, which is that neither Collins nor Murkowski have voted yes for now. Who can say what new bombshell will be revealed in that extra time?

Just to be clear "the GOP" didnt offer the week. Flake and Murkoswki forced the hands of Grassley and McConnell. And they did that because the Dem hammering on the FBI question forced their hands.

I think the seven day time deadline is for the vote in the Senate. Flake et. al are asking the FBI to see what it can get done in seven days; then the Senate will vote. They are essentially calling for a very abbreviated FBI investigation.

Anyone want to chip in to buy a keg and send it to Kavanaugh's house in Chevy Chase? He's probably going to be "thirsty" tonight.
