Taking ECNL out of the IG handle is a big clue that something is changing. |
At that point would NVA just be Valor? |
Not if there’s a structural split-up within Loudoun. |
| NVA will become GA/MLSN. Loudoun RL will become Aspire/MLSN2. |
Still feel like we're trolling? |
| Why would anyone give up ECNL for GA? |
| For MLSN for the boys, keep up Son! |
The landscape is changing rapidly. ECNL for girls is 15 years old, while GA is only 4 years old; GA is rapidly advancing in quality and relevance for serious soccer players. Also, if you want your boys team to have MLS Next, you switch from ECNL to the MLS Next/ GA Combo. If you have been happy in ECNL for a few years now, you may have been blind to the moves GA has been making. Yes, ECNL is tops in D1 college placement, but things are changing. |
It's a lot simpler than all those words. MLS Next. That's the reason |
Without Loudoun would NVA even have any decent fields? |
| This has nothing to do with the girls or GA. MLSN son! |
This. |
| What was NVAs handle then and now? I don’t get how that’s relevant |
NVA's IG handle was always @nvaecnlsoccer. It was just changed to @northernvirginiaalliance. Clubs don't usually change their IG handle unless there is a reason. And the reason here is because they needed to take ecnl out of the name. |
Why keep the alliance? What is LS really getting from Valor. |
