DC’s teacher consumes drugs

Anonymous
Ran into DC’s teacher this weekend in DC and was flabbergasted to see the teacher smoking weed openly and drinking alcoholic beverages in public. I asked her if she’d be proud of herself and actions if her students saw her in this way and she had the audacity to say the students themselves probably smoke more cannabis than her.

I took video footage but I’m not at peace with myself to expose her. Am I overKarening the situation? At the end of the day she really is free to do as she wishes in her private life right?

So, she's a legal adult engaged in legal activities in DC?

MYOB.

Of course she is free to do what she wants in her private life, assuming that smoking weed is unfortunately legal in your area.

But, this is reason number 983,702,704,883 why my kids are in private schools.

Could you please be so kind to elaborate? What does THIS do to impact your decision making process in such fashion? I’m genuinely intrigued

Because Private School teachers don't get high?

It's legal in DC so it's really like you saw the teacher drinking. Lots of teachers drink. Lots of teachers drink A LOT. If it's not something that's impacting the classroom, it's not your business.

My understanding is that smoking weed _in public_ is not legal in DC. But I could be wrong.

This is absolutely deranged. Do you also believe that pregnant teachers should be put on leave before they start showing so they don’t give kids any ideas?

This has to be a troll, right?

Bad news, OP, I know plenty of teachers, physicians, professors, accountants, lawyers, psychologists, and nurses who also smoke the devil's lettuce and consume adult beverages in their free time.

Please tell us that you did not confront this poor woman in public.

Wow you are weird OP. And scary.

And we wonder why no one wants to go into teaching these days...

Unless they are showing up to class high/drunk or offering substances to their students, this is absolutely none of your business.
