DC’s teacher consumes drugs

"OverKarening" the situation is the kindest way to describe your reaction, OP.

Did the teacher know you took video footage, OP?

Be careful or you could be sued for slander.

I took video footage but I’m not at peace with myself to expose her. Am I overKarening the situation? At the end of the day she really is free to do as she wishes in her private life right?
You are unhinged!

As someone who's never smoked anything and has only a few drinks a year and would not be happy if my children consumed either, I still say: Get over yourself, and apologize to the teacher, unless you have some way of proving that this affects the school experience, which I couldn't imagine.

I bet OP is the type to whine about cancel culture and how some slut is ruining her son's future by accusing him of rape.

But, this is reason number 983,702,704,883 why my kids are in private schools.

When stepson was in private school, his teachers were the biggest binge drinkers and weed smokers.

Did you run into her stumbling around drunk with a fifth in a paper bag? Or sitting at a restaurant with a glass of wine?

I do think that it's a little weird that you have a teacher of a grade young enough to be "DC's teacher" and not "one of DC's teachers" (in MD that would be 3rd grade and under, but maybe VA is different) who thinks she has multiple students smoking cannabis.

What the heck -- please give more detail about where you saw this and how you confronted? Where were you that people were openly consuming weed in public -- kind of puts you on the same footing (you should be ashamed of yourself??)

I know many pot head teachers at the best private school in town. I just happen to know this group of people that happen to be teacher there. It's not like I know many teachers in general but I imagine there are several in any given public school too.

What the F*ck???? Yes, you are absolutely overstepping here.

You need to email your video to the principal ASAP. That teacher needs to be gone.

Does your private school drug test randomly? Cause if not...

Op you are a nightmare. You took a video - did you have permission?

You are in the wrong, here.

I'd let it be but definitely ask my kid more Qs about the teacher until my kid was out of that class. But where is it legal to smoke weed and drink in public? Context matters too--was it a snoop dogg sized blunt or a tiny joint from her living room or someone's house?

And it's not legal in DC, just decriminalized.
