Don’t those teams have some USWNT players on them? They are like all star teams with the best players from all countries. Yes I would expect a team of all stars to be better

Neither team has any Americans. Man city had three( Mewis, Lavelle and Dahlkemper) and lost to Barca by aggregate of 5 to 1(goals).

This is funny. You can't say this until it happens. It won't happen that the US losses but if they do -- then go ahead and say what you want.

Barca is mostly Spanish players, US v Spain hasn’t gone well for Spain. Chelsea is more international, but who knows

No Barca has has about 6 international players who are world class including Kheira Hamraoui. Barca played and beat man city with USWNT players - Rose Lavelle, Sam Mewis and Abby Dahlkempe(a two game round). That is the core of the USWNT. Even with those three man city could not beat Chelsea. Tobin Heath and Christen Press played for Man United this year and have been okay but not dominate.

Everyone loves to jump on the USWTN’s wagon and cheer USA! You can google and watch these teams play with and against the best US women players and see for yourself how they stack up. It’s not even a debate the US would lose.

Anyone else feeling that the Spirit flame has fizzled out? Maybe it’s just me, been away from sports too long. It’s also too hard to watch a game, let alone trek to Segra. Hope they figure it out.
