Lee-Mt Vernon Coaching Slate

When will the coaching announcement come out? I just noticed there's tryout dates but no coaches listed.

DS's 2006 coach is changing clubs (as are we). As far as the rest of the club, can't say much except we've lost just about 50% of our players from 2019 to 2020 and then another 50% from 2020 to 2021.

The reason why they're not advertising the coaching slate is they're not certain there will be teams for those age groups. Some will stay as their teams are happy, but this is probably just RL and DC. Everybody else is fair game, including LC. There are missing age groups all over and it's going to get worse.

So, you're just gonna move RL from 2012 boys to 2006 girls? There's no 2006 girls team. He's a good coach why would they do this?

There's no:
2003 girls team
2004 girls team
2006 girls team

There's also no 2nd teams for a few age groups, like 2009 boys and 2008 girls. Also, LMVSC isn't in USYS National League. Somebody should look into this since it is a false advertisement.

And can somebody please tell me why they put the US soccer logo up?

Because someone believes that the more logos, the better the perception.

Is the posted coaching slate serious? It’s unbelievable between LB coaching 3 teams, representing league affiliation they don’t belong and, more alarming, the number of coaching changes. Is it true EE & RL are the most senior coaches at the club (not including LB). Why are so many coaches and players leaving the club?

Right now, there are now 2003 and 2004 girls teams; there's also not a 2006 girls team. Lula is just readying herself to take EE's 2005 girls.

This. After two years at our club, the only two coaches remain at our club are EE and RL. I'm not sure entirely what is going on, but everybody is definitely leaving. Are we going to continue this 'academy' approach? Does anybody know if we're going to have another townhall?

From what I see majority of last year's coaches are returning with the exception of a few in older age groups which my DC did not interact with.

This is a new club from what is was. I saw an earlier thread discussing a name change (gotta admit, "Lee" is a bit outdated). Maybe a rebrand wouldn't be such a bad idea at this point.

100%. I think everyone except for 1 person at the club from staff/coaches believes that they are in a rebuilding process. Focus should be to build with what they have and if they are able to grow and attract new talent to help those teams then great.
