Leadership is falling apart and they are barely keeping the club together> Hopefully SYC retains their players (even give them scholarships to play) nobody should be fooled to play for LMVSC, they are at bottom of the totem pole. If you want your DS or DD seen go to any other club don't give your money to LMVSC. False promises and they push college information on you act like they are going to make things happen. All lies! LC is probably looking for another place to coach too but no one will take him. That speaks volumes.

I can't agree more. Maybe he should go begging back to SYC and be EM errand BOY! People don't play for LMVSC its all lies go to anything else but there. Don't drink the Kool-Aid. They had three teams for each level now they can barely roster one.

Unsure why his twin brother, Tony, did not return for 2021-2022.

Thanks LB....Rob still teaches at Robinson.

Did you sleep through reading comprehension, or are you just that stupid? Bobby moved his family to Ruchmond earlier this school year. He continues to teach at Robinson until the school year ends. He did the same thing with LMVSC, coaching until the end. Next year, he will not return to either, having taken positions in Richmond.

I'll use crayon next time for you.

I have kids who have played for LMVSC and will play again this year. Their coaches are two of the most wonderful coaches I could imagine. Serious about soccer, good role models, encouraging to the players, and reasonably tempered. I have experienced terrible coaches. So for these two men, I am grateful. The club has handled covid well. Not overreacting but reasonable measures that have kept the kids safe. I think the club is a good option for people who live close by and are not necessarily looking for the most competitive team in the area. For that option, there are other clubs that are good choices. Just wanted to offer a different perspective for anyone who is looking still. I, of course, have had my issues with the club over the years. But we will stay the course snd my kids have really benefitted from their coaches. These coaches are returning and taking on their teams again next season.

People have their gripes w the club but if you are happy w the coach then it’s a good situation to be in, just ignore the outside noise. A good coach makes the entire difference.

Oh good. Maybe we can have a few months without the negative posts regarding LMVSC and their staff.

Best of luck to you and your DC in finding a club with a better fit.

Not so much. LB exudes negativity and the dark cloud is often found close by or over her head.

Oh I'm being negative? Okay. We're not switching clubs, my DC is thinking of quitting soccer altogether because LC has sucked the joy out of the sport for him. I'm sorry to complain that my child's coach has made soccer less fun for my child.

But yeah I'll update you.

Bobby was living in Richmond before the season and trying to coach the team while commuting in Alexandria. It was a less-than-ideal situation and there were lots of issues. Tony is going to coach a McLean/SYC ECNL team next year. He should do really well there.
